Ginger the Dachshund

I was knitting an Afghan for my granddaughter, using Lion brand thick & Quick, when her family had to put down their 15 yr old dachshund, Ginger. The whole family was so sad crying over their loss, & I happened to have over 3 skeins of yarn left, so decided to use it to knit the dachshund pattern using the leftover yarn which was much thicker than the pattern called for. I used a size 15 needle for the Afghan, but decided to use a size 10 for the dachshund so that it would be a tighter weave & not show the stuffing. It came out great & my family loved it. Now my granddaughter will have her “Ginger” forever! I wish I could figure out how to send you the picture of Ginger.
