Jemima-Jane & Friends by Jean Greenhowe
Jean Greenhowe has been designing and publishing her distinctive patterns for many years. Her beautifully detailed dolls and toys all look so much more complicated than they are - if you can knit, purl, increase and decrease you can make one of her designs. All designs are made using standard DK yarn, with some requiring small amounts of a number of shades, so they an excellent way to use up the oddments that every knitter has tucked away. Or why not try our own award winning Deramores Studio DK or Deramores Baby DK. Jemima-Jane is a splendid 51cm (20") dressing up doll with a removable mob cap, two skirts, a popover apron and hair accessories. Misses Amelia, Christabel and Sophie are 29cm (11.5") tall and have delightful (removable!) Victorian style evening wear, daywear and, of course, underwear. Continuing the Victorian theme, we have 3 little topsy-turvy dolls: Holly reversing to Ivy, Buttercup to Daisy and Pansy to Rose. These miniature dolls are just 17cm (6.75") tall. And finally, miniature teddies: Bearysmall is the tiniest, measuring an appealing 5cm (1"). Babette with her hat and feather boa is 9cm (3.5") and Hartley is the largest teddy at 11cm (4.5"). All measurements for the bears are in the seated position.
