Artemis the stargazing Sloth is leaving her tropical forest home on a quest for adventure and is hoping that you will join her. Travelling with just the essentials (her telescope and her all-purpose vest), she measures approximately 7 – 8” (17 – 20cm) when sitting, and is just waiting to be your friend. Suitable for an intermediate crocheter, the pattern is made in a spiral of continuous rounds, and uses a variety of stitches and techniques which are clearly explained in the numerous diagrams and photos. Artemis can be created using any DK yarn, but why not try our own awarding winning Deramores Studio DK, a beautifully soft acrylic yarn with anti-pilling technology. Sloths come in various shades, and we think Artemis would look fabulous crocheted in Oatmeal and Chocolate, with her vest in Malachite, her bow-tie in Purple and her telescope in Mustard and Burnt Orange. Please be aware that Studio DK is a 100g ball, so you will have yarn left over – so you could put the leftover yarn towards another fabulous design by Kate!
