United StatesI have now purchased five sets of the Scheepjes Stone Washed-River Washed Colour Pack. Two of them were given to a friend and a niece. With the other three, I have been making granny squares in radiating color patterns for a blanket. The yarn is beautiful and easy to work with, malleable in the extreme, and the wide selection of colors allows for a very colorful set of squares. I would definitely buy this product again, and in fact if I don't end up having enough squares for my blanket, I will almost certainly actually be buying some more. Thanks for asking.
United StatesI have been using the Scheepjes Stone Washed-River Washed Color Pack to make colorful granny squares for a warm weather blanket. The pattern I'm using is to start out with 3 dc crochet stitches per side, with 3 ch st at each corner, then to increase each round by two on each side of each side until I have 35 dc per side (3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35). I vary the colors I use in nearly every row, so that it's 4-5 colors per square used. I'm very pleased with the result. Scheepjes and Deramores in general have my wholehearted appreciation. I love the softness of the cotton fibre, whereas many other brand cottons are rough and don't hold shape. Thanks for asking.
