Take yourself on a Scandinavian adventure whilst remaining in the comfort of your home with our winter Knit-Along (KAL) created in Novita 7 VELJESTÄ. Designed by Nicola Valiji, Scandinavian Winter celebrates the wonder of this beautiful part of the world with its traditional Nordic patterns and wintry colour scheme.
Nicola is super excited about this project, here's what she had to say. "I wanted to design a Scandinavian style blanket that looks more complicated than it is. I have used slip stitches and mock cables to create the Scandi style but keeping it simple. This project is ideal for beginners who wish to expand their skills".
Keeping with the tradition of this Nordic style. This blanket has been created in Novita 7 VELJESTÄ, translating to 7 Brothers, being at just the right strength and with its magnificent colours has made this yarn a true long-term favourite. Originating from Finland, 7 VELJESTÄ yarn contains 75% Wool and 25% Polyamide. The softness of the yarn comes from the high-quality wool, and the strength from the polyamide used.
The Knit-Along (KAL) will commence on 7th February 2020 for a duration of 5 weeks, with a new section of the pattern added every week, Friday at 10.00 am GMT on Website, dedicated Facebook group - Deramores: The Projects, Social Media, Blog and on our Newsletter. The Pattern will be available FREE as a Digital Download and comes in UK Terminology.
